McKinstry E-News … Fall 2021

“I always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Corinthians 1:4, NIV)

Thank you for standing with us!

The Apostle Paul declares that missionaries cannot go unless they are sent. THANK YOU for sending us. We could not do this without you. Together, God is using our combined faith sacrifices to make a difference in both lives in Spain and in all of us. Your giving and praying is a crucial part of the teamwork!

In order to return to Spain, we need your help in two specific ways: Praying & Giving

First, we thank God for His amazing provision and for the faith of people to give. Our new personal mission budget increased by over 30% from our last term. To date, we have raised an additional $3225 in new support and we are grateful for the many new monthly giving partners and for those who have increased their monthly giving. Many have given out of their need and we could not be more encouraged by you! We currently need another $790 in additional monthly support to finish off our budget. If you currently support us financially, and you have not done so, would you consider a 10% increase to your giving? Every gift, no matter how small you might think it is, makes a difference. We humbly thank you for considering this, knowing that your gift will make it possible for the International Church of Malaga to be launched in 2022.

Second, we thank God for the gift of prayerJames, the half brother of Jesus wrote, “You do not have because you do not ask God” (James 4:2). We have watched God answer prayer after prayer and we have experienced how God uses prayer to shape our own lives.

Would you take a moment to pray with us for several specific situations we are surrendering to Him:

For our Spanish Visas – What was already a challenging process has been made even more so with the current world-wide COVID pandemic. Please pray with us for God’s favor and perfect timing in the processing of this paperwork.
For our hearts – Saying good-bye is not easy. We have enjoyed our time here in the States. Our itineration has allowed us to both reconnect with our current and new partners and spend quality time with our two daughters, a son-in-law, a serious boyfriend, family and friends. Living in two worlds is complicated and at times hurts, yet God is with us and His peace keep us.
For our work finances – As has been mentioned, we still need more monthly funding. Would you please pray that God would move on the hearts of Pastors, church boards, and individuals to step up and stand with us through giving for those far from the hope of Christ in Spain?
