McKinstry News … Summer 2023

“But you … whom I have chosen… I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you.So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:8-10, NIV)

Believing, Working, and Praying is Where God Moves

What do you see when you look at the broken or the dark things that surround you? Often, we are tempted to see the challenges around us from merely a human point of view; to believe that there is only what we can do, only our strength, and only our resources. But God invites us to see life from His perspective, through eyes of faith; to believe that He cares more than we do, that He is able to do it, and that He has more than enough to meet needs as we step out. For those who choose to see their challenges through eyes of faith, they will dare to believe what many don’t or won’t. They will work and they will pray and they will see God do what only He can do.

This is our reality in the city of Malaga; a city that many have written off as unreachable, where people are uninterested, or maybe even unimportant in our world. But that’s not true; that’s not the statement that Christ and his cross made 2000+ years ago, when God showed He would stop at nothing to rescue humanity. This is why we’re here in Malaga; to glorify Christ and share his light with people who have so little hope. It’s a struggle; but it’s a struggle we face with God. So … We Believe … We Work … We Pray … and God Moves!

And we thank you for Believing, for Praying, and for Working with us from afar. We cannot do it without you. And when we do this together, we see God move in even bigger ways!

2023 Summer Kids Camps and Park Outreaches

We Need Your Prayers … Here’s How:

1. For Jesus to be lifted high in Malaga, Spain. For existing churches to be encouraged, new churches to be started, and for a movement of people to follow Christ throughout the city.

2. For our new International Church plant in Malaga. For the dozens of people who are a part of our growing faith community; for unity, maturity, and vision. For favor with all of the organizations who are involved in helping us legalize and operate as a church.

3. For God to call people to come be a part of the ICM plant team. Please pray for God to call families, couples, and singles to Malaga to serve the city through the church. If you are interested or you know some one who may be interested in being a part of the team please contact us at our email:
