When a MOUNTAIN STANDS BEFORE YOU.

“The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.” (Psalm 97:5, NLT)

  We love to stand on top of the mountain. It’s is a place of celebration; a place to enjoy the view, take a moment to rest, and recall the journey to the top. It’s a place where past doubts and fears now seem silly and small. The mountain top is the pinnacle of achievement maybe even a dream realized, and everything looks downhill from there.
Have you ever FACED a mountain?

  A few years back, Heather and I stood at a trail head in Park City, Utah that would take us almost 3000 feet up over 3.5 miles. We knew it would be arduous, demanding, and at times, even dangerous. But, we dreamed of the view from the top, almost 10,000 feet above sea level, where a mountain lake, high in the Rockies, awaited those who dared to make the journey. It was the prize we longed to see … and it was better than we imagined!
Today, we stand before another mountain…
WILL YOU STAND WITH US?

  This mountain is not a simple day hike or a fickle desire, it’s a calling, a passion, and a purpose; to see that the 1.7+ million people who call Malaga, Spain home have an opportunity to receive the hope of Jesus Christ, the same hope that is alive in us. This is not an easy journey, instead it’s filled with danger and difficulty, but we are driven by a God-birthed vision. We believe that every Malaganean will hear the gospel message. Instead of being defined by brokenness, shame, or fear, Christ Jesus offers them a new life; a life of peace, joy, and purpose. We cannot do this WITHOUT YOU.

  Romans 10:14-15a, NLT says, “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?” So many of you reading this are a part of our “Sending Team” and we say “Thank You” for believing with us. We have watched God do the impossible in Barcelona and now we are believing that God will do even more as we work towards the future International Church plant in Malaga, Spain.

Growing Our Partnerships During a Pandemic

   We serve the God of the impossible. While the declarations of impossible from many throughout history has forced some to the sidelines, others have chosen to believe God; this is our faith stance. We are believing God. Will you believe with us? Because we believe, we are working. We are sharing our vision with pastors, churches, and individuals asking them to join us through giving and praying in this effort. We are meeting with our church plant team members, praying over Malaga, and planning next steps as we move closer to our time of arrival back to Spain. 

OUR CURRENT FINANCIAL MOUNTAIN:
$2300 in new monthly support
$20,000 in personal work cash
$95,000 in Church start-up funds

   Would you dare to believe with us? At this very moment, would you pray for us, for the team, and for the city? Would you pray for new partners, for church start up funds, and for others to come along with us? Once these needs are met, we will be released for return to Spain and officially launch the International Church of Malaga.

In the presence of mountains… WE NEED THE PRESENCE OF JESUS.
  If you are like us, and a mountain stands before you, God’s presence and power turns mountains into plains. He can bring peace to conflict, freedom to bondage, and provision to poverty. The Bible says, “The mountains melt like wax before the Lord, before the Lord of all the earth.” (Psalm 97:5, NLT). We are believing God as we stand before our mountain. We are believing for you, your family, your church, and your community as you stand before your mountain.
